Our team is open to applications from all individuals, whether you are a certified substitute paraprofessional or someone with no teaching experience. We are here to assist you throughout the application and onboarding process.

As a substitute paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher to help students, especially those with special needs, achieve their academic and personal goals. Your responsibilities will include enhancing regular classroom learning and providing one-on-one support to individual students.

Other titles for this role include school aide, teacher assistant, instructional aide, one-to-one aide, and personal care assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individuals or small groups.
• Assist the classroom teacher with managing classroom dynamics and supervising students.
• Help with administrative tasks, including preparing materials and setting up equipment.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, special classes, in hallways, field trips, and at before and after school programs.
• Attend to the physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs of students.
• Support students with special needs in accordance with their IEPs/504 Plans.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the classroom teacher or school administrators.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Pay: $13-$22/hr
