Position Overview: The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provide advanced clinical care to hospitalized patients. They manage patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring continuity and quality of care throughout the hospital stay. This position is a solo-nocturnist position therefore a strong acute care background is required, as there is no in-house hospitalist onsite to support them, however one can be reached by phone when needed.

Sunday-Saturday 12hr shifts, 15 days per month, Nights
Nurse Practitioner Education Qualifications: Required:
· Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Nurse Practitioner Certification Qualifications: Required:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) Required:
Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification Required:
Valid state license and DEA registration Required:
National board certification as an Acute Care NP (ACNP), Adult-Gerontology NP (AGNP), or Family NP (FNP) Required:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross ACLS) Required: Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner ACNP (New Grads Welcome) or AGNP/FNP with hospitalist and procedural experience Physican Assistant Education Qualifications: Required:
Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Required:
Completion of clinical rotations across multiple disciplines, including internal medicine, surgery, and emergency care
Physican Assistant Certification Qualifications: Required:
Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license issued by the State of Illinois (New Grads welcome) Required:
Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification Required:
Valid state license and DEA registration Required:
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification Required:
