Position Summary
Works closely with the Project Manager to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance
with project specifications, codes, and company standards. Provides leadership, technical expertise, and workforce development across all levels of field personnel.

Qualifications & Experience
•6 years or more Industrial/Heavy Commercial electrical experience serving as the
primary on-site supervisor , with responsibility for planning, coordinating, and directing the
installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems , materials, and equipment.
•Demonstrated ability to
direct and support field personnel
while maintaining productivity, quality standards, and jobsite safety.
•Proven experience coordinating daily work activities where
complex multi-crew or multi-supervisor coordination is not required , but strong leadership and organization are essential.
•Ability to
communicate effectively
with customers, project managers, and team members.
Essential Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
•Jointly prepares working estimates and performs project take-offs with the Project Manager. •Assists in planning work sequences, project schedules, and manpower loading to align labor resources with project milestones.
•Establishes work schedules, crew assignments, and manpower loading charts to ensure equipment, drawings, and information are available on-site in a timely manner.
•Tracks, expedites, and verifies delivery of requested materials to maintain uninterrupted workflow.
Field Supervision & Technical Execution
•Provides overall supervision to foremen and crews performing commercial and industrial electrical installations.
•Reads, prepares, and interprets electrical blueprints, specifications, and drawings to determine wiring methods, equipment locations, and fixture placement.
•Performs and oversees layout, installation, terminations, and troubleshooting in accordance with project documents.
•Oversees work involving:
o
Industrial and commercial lighting systems
o
Cable tray systems and associated electrical infrastructure
•Monitors work-in-progress, adjusts staffing as needed, and coordinates sequencing with other trades to meet production goals.
Quality, Code & Safety Compliance
•Inspects field installations to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with
NEC, OSHA, project specifications, and company safety standards.
•Holds overall responsibility for project safety performance.
•Ensures employees are properly trained and instructed for assigned tasks.
Leadership & Workforce Development
•Provides on-site leadership, direction, mentoring, and training to
Apprentice Electricians, Journeymen, and Foremen.
•Promotes productivity, accountability, and professionalism across all field personnel.
•Supports workforce development by identifying skill and training needs within the crew.
Customer & Contractor Interface
•Interfaces daily with customer representatives and/or general contractors regarding:
o
Project scheduling and coordination
o
Manpower and workload planning
• Must have
High School Diploma. • Must have a
valid Driver's License. •Must hold a
TDLR Journeyman Electrician License . •Must be able to
successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
