Recovery Support Staff Assistant Manager First Step House is hiring Full‑time Recovery Support Staff Assistant Manager located in Salt Lake City, Utah!
The
Recovery Support Staff Assistant Manager
(RSSAM) works with the RSS Manager to ensure client welfare, client safety, and client accountability in all the First Step House (FSH) programs. The RSSAM will oversee two House Managers and is responsible for assisting the RSS Manager in maintaining the Support Staff schedule as well as the day‑to‑day operations of the entire Recovery Support Staff Department. The Recovery Support Staff Assistant Manager will also be responsible for oversight and processing of mail received at our Central City location.
Pay range:
$25 - $30 per hour
Hours:
Flexible weekdays

Duties to include but not limited to:
Consistently practices and demonstrates principles of an Outward Mindset
Maintain knowledge of program rules, client rules, client rights, and relevant legal and ethical codes.
Oversee data entry that includes violation, pass log, and client satisfaction surveys.
Creates and manages the weekly Recovery Support Staff Schedule when the RSS Manager is out.
Ensure that mail is reviewed and distributed properly.
Completes onboarding, training, and management of the Central City, Fairpark House Managers and RSS trainer.
Oversees the quality and content of daily Shift Logs.
Monitors the daily Shift Logs for any reportable incidents.
Conducts one regularly scheduled monthly meeting with all Recovery Support Staff.
Performs tasks in accordance with the Recovery Support Policy and Procedure Manual.
Ensures that all scheduled shift duties are carried out by scheduled Recovery Support Staff.
Conducts shift audits twice a month.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent and experience in related industry is preferred.
A minimum of one‑year experience in related industry is preferred.
