Duties
Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and faith-centered environment for children from infants to preschool age
Hire, Supervise and support teaching staff, providing mentorship and fostering professional growth in early childhood education practices
Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate Christian teachings, childhood development principles, and social-emotional learning
Coordinate parent communication, including updates on children's progress and faith-based activities
Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, including first aid protocols and emergency procedures
Oversee enrollment processes, maintain accurate records, and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal classroom coverage
Promote a positive team culture focused on compassion, respect, and teamwork aligned with Christian values
Skills
Extensive experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
Strong classroom management skills to foster discipline while nurturing creativity and independence
Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education
Experience with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is highly desirable
Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional training in behavior management or caregiving is a plus
Proven ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a warm, compassionate approach
Excellent communication skills to engage with parents, staff, and community members in a respectful and uplifting manner

The base salary for this position is $50,000 with escalators based on attendance metrics.
A degree in early education and/or daycare management experience is required.
