Job Description OVERVIEW We are seeking a strategic data and analytics leader responsible for designing, executing, and evolving the Enterprise Data Management and Analytics Program. This role oversees data governance, architecture, integration, data warehousing/lakehouse, and advanced analytics to enable business-led transformation and data-driven decision-making. Will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to foster innovation, deliver scalable cloud-based solutions, and embed data as a strategic enterprise asset. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and execute the enterprise data vision, strategy, and roadmap across data integration, governance, analytics, and information delivery.
Lead and mentor data architects, engineers, and analytics professionals in building scalable, cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure, Databricks lakehouse platforms, and Azure Data Factory.
Drive enterprise data architecture that balances short- and long-term business needs while ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Champion data governance and metadata management using platforms such as Microsoft Purview to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
Enable data-driven decision-making through Power BI dashboards, advanced reporting, and self-service analytics capabilities.
Guide the application of advanced analytics and machine learning using Python, R, and Azure Machine Learning to uncover trends and actionable insights.
Establish metrics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of data programs and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Lead innovation by monitoring emerging technologies (AI, cloud-native analytics) and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Provide executive-level oversight of budgets, vendors, delivery performance, and operational outcomes.
Support regulatory, compliance, and records-management requirements as applicable.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise data, analytics, or information management roles.
6+ years in senior leadership overseeing data engineering, analytics, and cross-functional initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
Deep expertise in:
Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure
Data Integration: Azure Data Factory
Data Warehouse/Lakehouse: Databricks
Data Governance: Microsoft Purview
Business Intelligence: Power BI
Advanced Analytics & ML: Python, R, Azure Machine Learning
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Experience with Agile development methodologies preferred.
Proven ability to build and sustain a high-performing, collaborative data organization serving as a center of excellence.
Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders and business stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable data solutions.
Experience leading organizational change and enterprise data modernization initiatives.
Strong track record of attracting, developing, and retaining top data and analytics talent.
