Do you want to be part of an innovative and rapidly growing business? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Special Projects Lead with strong business acumen and high bar to join the AWS Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team. 3PX was conceived from the belief that many current and future AWS customers can realize more value from cloud by deepening their relationships with the AWS Private Pricing Program, and this role will help drive the growth and scale of Private Pricing through cross‑functional and highly‑visible initiatives.

In this role, you will drive growth of the Private Pricing Program by defining and delivering against strategies that transform how customers discover, engage with and choose Private Pricing in order to benefit from its value proposition. You will partner with stakeholder teams across AWS to assert your vision, drive consensus and bring your vision to life. Through this work, you will deepen relationships with customers and expand the Private Pricing customer base, fueling AWS growth. You will also scale the program by improving the customer experience to minimize friction and enhance business outcomes for both the customer and AWS.

The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, is energized by charting their own path forward, exhibits high judgment, balances standards with delivery, and is self‑driven and curious. They maintain a high bar for delivery and have experience working directly with senior leadership.

Key job responsibilities

Define and drive strategies that transform how customers discover, engage with and choose the AWS Private Pricing Program.

Continuously inspect and learn from metrics and anecdotes, running experiments to gain quick learnings and insights for continuous improvement.

Ruthlessly (re)prioritize based on learnings and optimize efforts and resources for ongoing impact.

Manage stakeholders and senior leadership to propose ideas, gain alignment and report on progress.

About the team 3PX is part of the Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization and is responsible for the AWS Private Pricing Program. This program offers enterprise customers commercial benefits in exchange for multi‑year spend commitments, enabling accelerated cloud transformation. The team’s focus is on cloud economics, strategic thinking and optimizing pricing solutions across a diverse customer base.

Basic Qualifications

6+ years of Go‑To‑Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.

Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Experience solving ambiguous or undefined challenges with strong problem‑solving abilities.

Experience working with fast‑moving, high‑performance teams and delivering innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments.

Knowledge of UX and/or CX design and usability.

Experience developing successful marketing or communications campaigns.

Experience advising senior executives or equivalent leadership.

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Experience building cross‑functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders without a direct reporting relationship.

Base salary range for each location:

USA, CA, San Francisco – 162,700.00 – 220,200.00 USD annually

USA, IL, Chicago – 147,900.00 – 200,100.00 USD annually

USA, MA, Boston – 147,900.00 – 200,100.00 USD annually

USA, NY, New York – 162,700.00 – 220,200.00 USD annually

USA, TX, Austin – 147,900.00 – 200,100.00 USD annually

USA, TX, Dallas – 147,900.00 – 200,100.00 USD annually

USA, TX, Houston – 147,900.00 – 200,100.00 USD annually

USA, VA, Arlington – 147,900.00 – 200,100.00 USD annually
