The Senior Market Research Analyst supports ASHP’s mission by turning data into insights that drive member engagement, program excellence, and organizational strategy. This role leads survey design and administration, manages complex datasets, performs advanced statistical analyses, and creates compelling visual stories for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, strategically minded, and has a strong background in research methods, data analytics, and visualization tools.
This is a hybrid position that requires candidates to live in the Washington, DC area and to be present in the downtown Bethesda, Maryland office as needed. Our compensation reflects skills, experience, and organizational needs. The base salary is $94,800–$110,000, and ASHP offers a comprehensive benefits plan. h3>What You’ll Be Doing
Survey Design & Management
Lead the development and administration of surveys measuring member satisfaction, engagement, brand perception, or program outcomes.
Write clear, unbiased, and methodologically sound survey questions.
Manage the full life cycle of survey programs – from scoping and instrument design to fielding, data cleaning, and reporting.
Use ASHP’s Qualtrics survey platform for programming and deployment.
Data Analysis & Insights
Apply advanced statistical techniques (e.g., regression, segmentation, factor analysis, driver analysis) to derive actionable insights.
Integrate multiple data sources (survey, CRM, web analytics, operational data) for a 360 view of trends and behaviors.
Create dashboards and visual analytics usingلاق Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Present findings in clear, executive-ready summaries that connect data to strategic decisions.
Collaboration & Consultation
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify research needs and design studies that answer key business questions.
Serve as an internal consultant on research methodologies and best practices.
Support organisation-wide KPI tracking and performance reporting.
Stay current with emerging research methodologies and visualization techniques. \ крови Recommend innovations in processes, data collection, analysis, and storytelling to enhance insight delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to ASHP
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Marketing Research, Social Science, Economics, DataFootng or related field (Masters preferred).
7+ years of experience in applied research, focusing on survey design, data analytics, and visualization.
Strong understanding of sampling, weighting, statistical testing, and data cleaning best practices.
Excellent storytelling and presentation skills; can convey complex findings to non-technical audiences.
Proficiency with tools such as:
Survey platforms: Qualtrics, Alchemer, or SurveyMonkey.
Analytics: SP оқ, R, Python, or SAS.
Data visualization: Tableau, Power BI, or Excel (advanced).
Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Strong project management and prioritization skills.
