We are searching for a Medical Assistant with Pediatric experience to take on the position of
Lead Medical Assistant and Vaccine Coordinator
for approximately 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, phone triage under physician’s guidance, obtaining vital signs and rooming patients, specimen collection, medication and treatment administration, provision of health education and patient care follow-up, review third-party platforms for Emergency Department encounters, assist in contacting specialists, and Vaccine Coordinator.
Benefits include sick leave, vacation, and holidays. There are no weekend or after-hours commitments.
Position Qualifications Include: Associate’s degree required Professional healthcare license required Three to five years of clinical experience preferred, preferably with a pediatric population and with a focus in disease or case management Strong written and verbal communication skills are required Strong critical thinking and analytical skills are required Proficient with the use of computer technology such as Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems Ability to function independently and prioritize effectively Driver's license required
