About the Company We are seeking an experienced
Director of Case Management
to lead and oversee hospital-wide case management operations for a well-established
acute care hospital system
in Tampa, Florida.
About the Role This senior leadership role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong
acute care case management
expertise and proven
people leadership
skills. The Director will be responsible for driving operational performance, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered outcomes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Case Management department Oversee utilization management, discharge planning, care coordination, and compliance functions Manage staffing models, FTE allocation, onboarding, staff competencies, and productivity Monitor key performance metrics including length of stay (LOS), throughput, quality outcomes, and resource utilization Lead performance improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission (TJC), and organizational policies and procedures Collaborate closely with executive and clinical leaders including CFO, CMO, CNO, Legal, and Ethics & Compliance Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (required) Active
RN ,
LCSW , or
LMSW
license (required) Minimum
3+ years of acute care hospital case management experience Minimum
2+ years of leadership or management experience in hospital case management Strong communication skills, executive presence, and demonstrated team leadership ability
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or MBA) Experience in large hospital systems or complex acute care environments
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range (based on experience): 0–3 Years:
$102,107 – $115,000 3+ Years:
$115,000 – $127,587 5+ Years:
$127,587 – $140,000 Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $10,000 Relocation Assistance:
