Position Overview We are seeking an
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator
to support a large-scale data center construction project in
Gainesville, VA . This role is ideal for an early-career safety professional with
1–3 years of construction safety experience
who is looking to grow within mission-critical and data center environments.
Key Responsibilities Provide daily on-site EHS support for active data center construction operations Conduct site safety inspections, observations, and audits; track and follow up on corrective actions Support implementation of project-specific safety plans, AHAs/JHAs, and client safety requirements Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and near-miss tracking Facilitate toolbox talks, orientations, and safety meetings for craft and subcontractors Monitor compliance with OSHA 1926 construction standards and site-specific rules Partner with field supervision and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture
Required Qualifications 1–3 years of construction safety experience (data center or mission-critical experience preferred) Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction standards OSHA 30 required (OSHA 510 or CHST a plus) Experience supporting subcontractor safety compliance Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work full-time on site in Gainesville, xsgimln VA
Schedule & Compensation Hourly Rate:
$35–$40 per hour, based on experience Schedule:
Monday–Saturday Weekly Hours:
Typically 40–55 hours, depending on project needs
Preferred Experience Data center, mission-critical, or large commercial construction projects Exposure to high-risk activities (MEWPs, cranes, excavation, LOTO, electrical safety) Familiarity with digital safety reporting tools and inspection platforms
