We are hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established commercial carpentry subcontractor delivering projects across office, healthcare, retail, restaurant, and banking sectors. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Carpentry Estimator with direct subcontractor-side estimating experience (GC-only experience will not be a fit). This role will take ownership of estimating and closing carpentry work.
Responsibilities: Prepare accurate estimates and takeoffs for commercial carpentry projects Estimate framing, drywall, ceilings, and exterior carpentry scope Review drawings and specifications to ensure full scope coverage Price, bid, and close carpentry work Use estimating software such as PlanSwift, PlanGrid, or BuzzBid
Requirements: Proven experience xsgimln estimating for a commercial carpentry subcontractor Strong knowledge of commercial carpentry scopes and methods Ability to manage multiple bids independently under deadline pressure
