Redwood Electric Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our on-site Project Management and Field teams. This role is essential to keeping project operations running smoothly and efficiently, requiring strong organizational skills, financial awareness, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Duties/Responsibilities Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, and scanning. Provide support to the project team in managing day-to-day construction operations. Maintain a high level of organization in document management and control. Copy, scan, and order drawings for projects as requested. Assist with the processing of RFIs and change order tracking. Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Understand and follow operating procedures within company and jobsite guidelines.
Required Skills/Abilities Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam. Strong organizational and priority management skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong administrative writing and reporting skills. Competence in managing processes and analyzing information. Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively. High level of professionalism and integrity.
Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years of administrative assistant experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Working Conditions This position is based in our Sacramento office and is not eligible for remote work. Work may be performed in an office or on active job sites, depending on role and project needs. Office work includes sitting, typing, and using a computer for extended periods. Noise levels range from quiet (office) to high (job sites). May require occasional travel to project locations or meetings. REG will provide reasonable accommodations as required by the ADA and applicable state law.
