Entry Level Accountant

Robert Half is searching for an entry level accountant for a contract position. In this position, your responsibilities will include data entry, financial statement review, and excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation. If you have an aptitude for excel, a positive attitude, and a desire to work in an entry-level accounting position, then this position could be the perfect fit.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly journal entries
• Investigating and correcting account discrepancies
• Making sure that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct
• Assisting with full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or business suggested
• General familiarity with accounts payable & receivable
• High-level understanding of Microsoft Excel (pivottables, v-lookups) is preferred
• Exposure to SAP or other ERP system highly desired
• Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
