Executive Assistant to Chief Operating Officer ( Executive Assistant ) Manthey Hospitality is Tampa Bays premier operator of passenger vessels, with a fleet of 14 vessels ranging from upscale dining cruises to water taxis. Were seeking a highly organized, adaptable Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) as well as the executive team to help keep our fast?paced operations running smoothlyon land and on water. The Executive Assistant will provide high?level administrative and operational support to the team. This role requires flexibility, discretion, and the ability to thrive in a non?traditional schedule that includes some evenings and weekends aligned with vessel operations and special events.
Key Responsibilities
Reports to the COO and supports the executive team
Manage the COOs calendar, scheduling meetings, operational check?ins, and events
Serve as a key point of contact between the COO and internal teams, vendors, and partners
Assist with operational coordination across dinner cruises, water taxi services, and specialty vessels
Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and meeting agendas
Track tasks, deadlines, and follow?ups to ensure operational priorities are met
Support event logistics and attend select evening or weekend functions as needed
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Provide general administrative support as business needs evolve
Requirements Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
Exceptional organizational, time?management, and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast?moving, customer?focused environment
Flexibility to work nights and weekends when required
Strong proficiency with email, calendars, and standard office software
Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, tourism, transportation, or maritime industries is a plus
Calm under pressure and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
