We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Northwest, Indiana. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes, along with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment tracking.
• Enter financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.
• Assist with invoice processing and verify proper documentation.
• Perform routine checks to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Provide general accounting support to the team as needed.
• Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows.

This position will offer a pay range between $23/hour and $25/hour. This is a 40-hour/week role with flexible work hours available. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance and paid time-off.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
