Job Title

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Answers telephone and directs caller to appropriate person.

* Open and date stamp mail on a daily basis.

* Code invoices and completes purchase orders for approval.

* Provides customer contact and customer service responses.

* Prepares and makes bank deposit if necessary. All checks and cash to be kept in the safe.

* Assists with typing moorage, storage, apartment, trailer leases for new tenants.

* Assists with the moorage lease renewal procedure on a monthly basis.

* Responsible for filing and securing of tenant files after hours. Filing to be completed on a weekly basis.

* Performs and manages some of the computer data entries related to moorage, residential, storage, trailer, office and retail leases as assigned.

* Completes mailing of tenant statements and correspondence when necessary.

* Calls tenants with past due balances when directed.

* Assists with details of all tenant move-ins and move-outs, including data entry, file management when directed.

* Assists with the maintenance of the marina database, utilizing marina program software.

* Must travel to the corporate office at least once per week and the bank for deposits as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Windows, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), property management and/or finance software. Requires strong sales, customer relations and customer service skills.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree (B.A.), with a degree in business, finance, economics or related field; two years of related, progressive experience in property management, sales and administrative support; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to prepare and write routine reports, correspondence and work orders.

Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages, as well as effectively calculate tenant leases, statements, etc.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems, prioritize customer service issues and solutions. Ability to work independently to complete tasks and work in a timely manner.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have valid state drivers license and proof of insurance.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and walk on marina docks and finger piers. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
