Production Assistant

The Production Assistant will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations to support the company's mission of delivering premium natural health products. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and co-packers to maintain material availability, executing production runs based on demand forecasts, and tracking financial activities related to inventory and production.

Production Execution
  • Determine the quantity of raw materials needed for upcoming production runs based on stock levels, orders, and demand forecasts.
  • Execute production runs to ensure timely availability of finished products.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials.
Purchase Order Management & Supplier Coordination
  • Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for raw materials.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and co-packers to ensure material availability, timely delivery, and smooth production flow.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for production and inventory processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Process & Cost Optimization
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs.
Financial Tracking
  • Track invoices and ensure timely processing of all inventory and production-related financial transactions.
Compliance & Regulatory Support
  • Support compliance initiatives and contribute to maintaining adherence to relevant regulations and internal standards.
Additional Support
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management to ensure operational efficiency.
