Manufacturing Supervisor - $18-$20/hr A local candy manufacturer in Conroe, TX is searching for a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the production operations. This is a permanent position in a fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate will directly supervise a team of 6 machine operators and packaging staff, work closely with the owner, and ensure efficient operation of candy manufacturing and packaging processes. Interested candidates, please send updated resumes to: Vanessa.Velazquez@ExpressPros.com Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM May require occasional overtime during peak production periods Responsibilities: Supervise and oversee daily candy production operations Work collaboratively with the owner to implement production goals and quality standards Monitor and maintain candy production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and quality control procedures Oversee daily production schedules and workflows to meet distribution deadlines Maintain the inventory of raw materials and packaging supplies Document production data, yields, and quality metrics Implement and enforce safety protocols for all production staff Train and mentor, a team of 6 machine operators and packaging associates Coordinate with distribution team to ensure timely product delivery Assist with new product development and process improvements Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Current Manager Food Handlers Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) Minimum 2+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in food manufacturing Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production equipment Experience with food production equipment and packaging machinery Understanding of and/or ability to use Word, Excel Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Problem-solving and decision-making ability Time management and adaptability Team-building skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles Technical troubleshooting abilities Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Preferred: Previous experience in candy or confectionery manufacturing Experience with small batch production processes Familiarity with inventory management systems Apply online or at our office: Express can help you find the job that is a good fit for your needs and abilities, and you’ll never pay a fee for our services and support.
