ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned) Conduct pre-operational visual inspections of equipment and areas. Perform Indicator, Microbiological and Allergen sampling of equipment. Maintenance of documents and records (QC records, testing and results records, equipment monitoring, verification/validation records). Immediately reports out-of-spec results and operating conditions to the responsible department. Identify differences from expectations/standards and communicates according to written procedure. Prepare and maintain forms and formatting, both electronic and paper, use in Sanitation applications which identify required testing and expected results. Assists in preparing corrective action suggestions for instances when targets are not achieved. Data Entry of information into the data systems. Ensures entries are correctly completed within the defined timeline. Initiate RCA/CAPA process to responsible departments for out of specification findings. Assist with solutions to problems encountered. Track and trend of results. Assist with environmental monitoring, new equipment verifications, and cleaning validations. Work closely with Quality departments and Supervisor to assist with special projects. Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) of all individuals in the plant and warehouse. Advises infractions to supervisor. Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse and Food Safety & Sensory to facilitate investigations, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action Preventative Action, and problem solving for incidents and non-conformances. Responsible for reporting daily on pre-op results and RCAs at the tier board Assist with training of various plant staff. Monitor lab equipment and confirm appropriate conditions for operation during use. Perform other duties as assigned. This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS

Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Preferred: AA, preferably with strength in math or science OR one to two years related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience. SKILLS

Must pass a written proficiency test Detail oriented Computer literate (Excel, Word, Data Entry programs, Smartsheet) Reliable/Dependable Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, rate, ratio by a predefined variable. Draw and interpret bar & line graphs and pie charts. REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
