HIGHLANDS, NC 28741 The Bartender position will provide a high level of personalized service to guests in any of the Food and Beverage venues at Old Edwards Hospitality Group in an efficient, personable, and professional manner. Responsibilities
Standing and walking for extended periods of time Name usage Ability to adhere to ABC standards Ability to communicate effectively and serve guests graciously to a high standard Ability to prepare consistently excellent cocktails Check ID of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol Memorization of the beer, wine, and specialty cocktail list, as well as, lunch and dinner menu, based on location Ability to use Micros POS system Ability to manage multiple tables at one time Accommodate special requests to guests, or offer alternatives Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure Ability to deal with difficult guests Ensure bars are clean and dusted and checklists are completed Provide service that exceeds guests’ expectations Basic math skills Responsibility when handling money and alcohol Ability to upsell and work well with a team Ensure outlets are stocked for the day Qualifications
Bartending and server experience needed. Excellent communication skills are important for this position Must be guest oriented and friendly Must be 21 years of age Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
