Summary (Essential Functions):
Ensure the highest standard of service is upheld while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area. Create an experience so members and guests feel at ease and enjoy their entire day. Provide bag, cart, and range services to members and guests.
Details:
Assist Members and Guests with interpretation of Golf Policies and Procedures and any other requests
Bring carts from cart storage facility to cart staging area outside golf shop. Ensuring it is stocked with the necessary supplies needed for the day
Check carts for tire pressure, brake operation, and other safety concerns
Clean clubs of members and guests and return to bag storage; advise Golf Shop of lost and found clubs
Load bags from bag storage room onto riding carts or push carts
Maintain a clean staging area for carts; maintain cleanliness and order of bag storage room
Operate Golf Ball Picker on the driving range to retrieve balls; wash range balls daily while cleaning and maintaining the ball washer
Perform Starter and/or Ranger duties as needed to keep record of the days players, who took carts, and who went to the driving range
Prepare carts, pushcarts, bag storage, range, and other areas for daily play
Remove bags from carts and return to the owner or their assigned rack in bag storage room
Return carts to cart storage facility; restock clean towels, sharpened pencils, clean score cards
Remove trash like tees, drink cans, etc.; check carts for abuse; thoroughly wash cart with pressure washer; park cart in its designated spot and connect charger cable
Transport range balls to the front, back, and side range; fill appropriate containers
Clear chipping green, put sand in exposed divots, and assist members and guests at the range
Uphold highest standard of overall presentation of Golf operations
Attend mandatory Staff Meetings as scheduled for department and Club as a whole
Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned by Golf Professionals and/or the Director of Golf
Must be physically able to lift at least 20 lbs.
Must be willing/able to work on weekends and Holidays
Qualifications Qualified candidates will be reliable, professional, and able to successfully work in a team environment. Candidates will have effective listening and communication skills and a strong desire to provide excellent service. All candidates will work to ensure the fulfillment of the Club's mission to provide a warm and friendly environment for our members and guests, through commitment and dedication with a personal touch.
