Hourly Pay Range: $13.09 - $18.39

We are currently looking for Laundry Aide for our full‑time Evening Shift 2:00 pm to 10pm opening with alternating weekends.

You will work closely with Environmental Services Manager and other team members to meet the needs of our residents and to ensure high quality laundry service is maintained for our staff and residents.

QUALIFICATIONS Previous laundry/housekeeping/cleaning aide experience in a healthcare or long term care setting preferred. Individuals must be able to work independently and reschedule cleaning activities to meet the needs of residents or nursing staff. Individuals must be able to deal tactfully and effectively with residents, families, visitors and co‑workers. Must be able to read and understand Standard English and be able to work with standard cleaning chemicals.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Sort and separate laundry items according to color, fabric type, and care instructions

Operate and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines and dryers

Load and unload laundry machines, ensuring proper weights and settings are used

Use appropriate cleaning agents and laundry products to remove stains and odors

Check and treat items for stains and damages before laundering

Inspect and fold cleaned laundry items, ensuring they are properly sorted and stored

Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and inform the supervisor when additional supplies are needed

Assist with the delivery of clean laundry to the appropriate areas or individuals

Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the laundry area

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent service

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent preferred
