Overview
Kenner, Louisiana: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is in search of three experienced Finisher III personnel to join our team based in Kenner, Louisiana. This role offers a competitive wage and is ideal for individuals with a strong background in industrial blasting and painting. If you have experience with mixing industrial paints and using thickness gauges, along with a valid driver's license and some forklift driving experience, we encourage you to apply.
Essential Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting, including blasting and applying primer.
Mix and apply industrial paints to various surfaces according to specifications.
Measure wet film thickness and dry mil gauge to ensure paint application meets quality standards.
Operate forklifts safely to move materials as required.
Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements/Skills
Must have experience as an industrial blaster/painter.
Knowledgeable in mixing industrial paints and using wet film thickness and dry mil gauges.
Valid driver's license and some experience operating forklifts.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Manual dexterity for precise work.
Comfortable working in an industrial environment.
