Maintenance Mechanic - Kenner, LA
Overview:
Kenner, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic.
Essential Duties:
Repair and rebuild small tools and machinery using shop manuals
Identify, track, and maintain inventories of spare and repair parts
Repair and maintain various industrial equipment and machinery
Perform preventive and routine maintenance on industrial systems and equipment
Ensure a safe and clean working environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements/Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude
Willingness to learn and develop skills in all trades
Proficient in the use of hand, power, and shop tools
Ability to work closely with and follow instructions from senior technicians
Experience with electro/mechanical systems such as automotive, HVAC, appliance repair, small engine repair, etc.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
