Randstad is currently seeking a Heavy Material Picker for a warehouse located in Milwaukee, WI. The primary responsibilities of this role include accurately locating, retrieving, and preparing heavy or bulky items for shipment. This position requires the operation of material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to ensure efficient movement of inventory. Key duties involve maintaining precise inventory records, adhering to strict safety protocols, and ensuring order accuracy for truck loading.
Salary: $23 - $24 per hour
Shift: First
Work hours: 6:30 AM - 3 PM
Education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move heavy products safely within the warehouse
Securely wrap, package, and palletize orders for shipment, moving them to loading docks
Work outdoors for 50% of your shift
Accurately record stock movements, restock shelves, and report discrepancies
Receive pick tickets and pull specified quantities and sizes
Work area clean and organized
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 7 hours at one time
