Warehouse Associate
New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping, receiving, and order picking. This role is critical in ensuring that incoming and outgoing shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and safely.
Essential Duties:
Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment according to customer requirements
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and stock items appropriately
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (loading, wrapping, labeling, etc.)
Maintain organized and clean work areas in accordance with safety standards
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (if certified)
Keep accurate records of inventory and report discrepancies to the supervisor
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Requirements/Skills:
2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
Experience in shipping, receiving, and order picking required
Basic computer and scanning system skills a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Forklift certification a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
Regular exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred
