Bakery Merchandiser . Our client in Rochelle Park, NJ, has an immediate opening for a Bakery Merchandiser on a direct‑hire basis.

Responsibilities
Ensure the visual appeal, product freshness, and strategic placement of bakery items across retail locations.
Maintain attractive, well‑stocked bakery displays that align with brand standards and seasonal themes.
Monitor product quality and freshness.
Partner with store management and bakery teams to plan product placements, pricing strategies, and promotional materials.
Track sales performance, inventory levels, and customer preferences to inform merchandising decisions.
Coordinate implementation of new product launches, special promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Ensure compliance with food safety and store sanitation standards.
Provide feedback to corporate leadership regarding customer trends and competitor activity.
Train in‑store bakery staff on display maintenance and promotional execution.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years of merchandising experience in a bakery.
Strong organizational and visual merchandising skills.
Excellent communication and time management abilities.
Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Travel between store locations required.
Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
