An exciting opportunity has become available within Fresh Futures’ Facilities Team. We are seeking an enthusiastic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our buildings are kept to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness. Why the role exists and overall responsibility
To provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the designated place of work. This includes the provision of cleaning cover at any of our sites across Kirklees. Main Activities
To keep the designated building(s) clean and tidy to the standard expected by the charity. To ensure the kitchens and toilets are cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis and that paper towels, toilet rolls, soap etc are replenished. To ensure that communal areas, reception, rooms and outside areas are clean and tidy, and free from hazards. To empty waste bins daily and dispose of contents in the correct industrial waste containers. To ensure rooms/ buildings are left secure. Report cleaning supplies requirements and stock levels to the admin team and ensure new supplies are stored correctly. To undertake a deep clean of the building when requested by management. To take initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks that are not specifically contained within the rota but require attention as part of maintaining overall high standards. Travel will be required to other sites across Huddersfield, Heckmondwike & Batley. Cover sickness and holidays across all sites. Knowledge, training and experience required
Previous experience cleaning in busy office environment. Driver with own transport required. Able to work from various sites across Huddersfield, Heckmondwike & Batley. Ability to manage a large workload and be able to prioritise effectively. Be professional, well organised and proactive. Maintaining high level of standards and service. Key personal characteristics
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. High degree of honesty, integrity and confidentiality. Take pride in working to high standards.
