Part Time

Environmental Services Worker

at our Hillsview Acres location.

The Part Time Environmental Services Worker is a valued member of the collaborative team ensuring a clean, sanitary and safe home‑like environment within an interdisciplinary, resident‑focused team at Hillsview Acres. All duties are performed in the best interest of the residents and their needs in accordance with Hillsview Acres’ vision, mission and values statements and with the Nova Scotia Long Term Care Legislation.

About You:

You have the ability to perform all assigned duties within a flexible work schedule required for a 24‑hour day, 7‑day week operation

Available for call in shifts on short notice

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

You work within an environment which can change at any moment and be prepared to adapt to these situations in a respectful and understanding manner

You present an attitude of respect and cooperation

Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift, squat, bend, stand and walk as required to perform the duties of the position

Demonstrated regular attendance

Class 5 Drivers License

Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Environmental / housekeeping experience within a Long‑Term Care setting is an asset
