Fire Restoration Technician (OKC)

ServiceMaster by RSI is currently seeking motivated and reliable Fire Restoration Technicians to join our growing team in Oklahoma City. This role is vital in helping property owners recover from fire and smoke damage through emergency response, mitigation, and restoration services.
Position Overview As a Fire Restoration Technician, you will respond to fire-damaged sites, perform cleanup, contents pack-out, and restoration activities. You will also document each job to ensure accurate reporting for insurance reimbursement and communicate the restoration process clearly to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to fire damage jobs, retrieve work orders, and ensure the truck is stocked with the appropriate tools and equipment.
Perform fire and smoke damage mitigation, including water extraction, pack-out of contents, disposal of non-salvageable materials, light demolition, and cleaning.
Communicate restoration processes and next steps to customers in person using printed materials as guides.
Maintain quality control and complete jobs according to company standards with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
Monitor and adjust the drying plan based on moisture meter readings.
Document work thoroughly with notes, photos, and reports to support insurance claims and job tracking.
Obtain customer approvals and signatures; request payment when applicable.
Communicate any job or customer issues to supervisors and key staff promptly.
Maintain and report the condition of tools, equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License (Required)
Must be available to work Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and after-hours shifts (rotating on‑call schedule, approximately once per month)
Ability to lift heavy items and work in physically demanding environments
Strong communication and customer service skills
Attention to detail for accurate documentation and compliance
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in restoration, construction, or similar trades is a plus
