JR112395**Make a difference, protect lives, and achieve your dreams.** Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.This position is responsible for general warehouse operations such as organizing/cleaning the workspace, refilling stock, general safety and learning the technical items of the trade.# **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*** Install or service fire extinguishers in commercial and residential buildings* Test and repair fire extinguishers already in place, Maintaining extinguishers and system cylinders in various locations in shop.* Perform inspections to ensure fire extinguishers are installed according to code* Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues* Report results of work completed in an accurate and timely manner* Protect and maintain company equipment. General warehouse operations.* Inspect and maintain the truck and all related equipment, putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation.* Operate warehouse equipment, including vehicles, in a way that facilitates the loading and unloading of the truck while observing all safety regulations and manufacturer’s safety instructions for that equipment.* Receiving freight, operating a forklift, and stocking the warehouse* Perform all inventory counts and maintain inventory stock levels.* Check in orders and stock all inventory items. Maintain adequate shipping supplies.* Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations either electronically or manually.* Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns.* Maintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job.* Perform other duties assigned by management.**Education/Qualification:*** High School Diploma or GED preferred.* Any vocational training is strongly desired.* Industry experience preferred.* Troubleshooting skills.* Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.* Requires the ability to display knowledge of principles, practices, codes and regulations related to the work.* Requires the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.* Requires the ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.* Requires the ability to use or repair small/light equipment, such as power tools, ladders, medium equipment and machinery.**Other Duties:*** Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Physical Requirements:*** Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.* Frequent lifting and carrying of toolboxes, equipment, parts, tools, equipment, cabling, and/or wiring.* Frequent ladder climbing and checking, pulling wire, etc.* Walking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, and raising hands overhead.**Benefits and Perks:*** *Excellent pay** *Medical, dental, vision** *Company paid life insurance** *Company paid short-term disability** *401K with employer match** *Paid vacation and company holidays** *Training and Career Development** *Company vehicle (if job applicable)** *Immediate qualification for the* *for all eligible full-time employees**Pye-Barker Fire and Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer* #J-18808-Ljbffr
