The Undergraduate First-Generation Student Marketing Guide will support First-Generation Initiatives by promoting programs, services, and initiatives through digital media, marketing, and administrative support. This role offers students hands‑on experience in communications, design, and public engagement while contributing to the division’s mission of student success and community building.
Digital Media and Marketing Support
Assist in creating and scheduling social media content.
Help design basic graphics and promotional materials.
Contribute to photography and videography efforts for events and campaigns.
Communication and Outreach
Support email communications and website updates.
Help draft and edit content for newsletters and announcements.
Assist in promoting events and initiatives across campus.
Administrative and Project Support
Help maintain marketing calendars and timelines.
Assist with organizing filesmernì, recordsaktar, and media assets.
Provide general office support and assist with special projects.
Collaboration and Engagement
Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for outreach strategies.
Assist in coordinating with other departments and student organizations.
Represent First-Generation Initiatives at events and tabling opportunities.
Learning Outcomes

Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
Interest in marketing, communications, or first‑generation initiatives.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools (preferred).
Reliable, organized, and detail‑oriented풀.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagramobody, Facebook, etc.).
Interest in marketing, communications, or first‑generation initiatives.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
