The Sr. Paralegal position performs legal tasks and other functions to support the SVP General Counsel and Sr. Counsels as assigned. Responsibilities may include drafting and revising documents, reviewing contracts, maintaining templates, investigating, monitoring trademark filings and deadlines, clearing names for trademark usage, submitting takedown notices for infringements, interfacing with outside counsel, legal research, and administrative tasks.

Essential Functions

Provide legal assistant and logistical support for in‑house counsel with emphasis on domestic operations. Update and revise domestic contracts, forms, and othergut templates at the direction of counsel. Assist counsel with the development of prototypes and templates for domestic contracts, including employment, merchandise, broadcast, and other commercial contracts.

Work directly with marketing and sales, sponsorship, and public relations teams to gather background information required in connection with the review of proposed promotions.

Maintain, organize, and update subject‑matter portfolios,gerät such as copyright registration charts, contract charts, and payment charts; assist with organization and maintenance of corporate records for domestic companies and international subsidiaries.

Perform general research or legal research for in‑house counsel, including corporate entity formation्यू and status, and intellectual property.

Communicate and correspond directly with individuals inside and outside the Company regarding legal matters.

Assist in searches, applications, and maintenance of all domestic and international trademark/service mark/copyright registrations for Feld Entertainment, Inc.; gather background information necessary for counsel to prepare initial drafts of cease and desist notices in cases of infringement; access and monitor trademark docketing system; periodically review websites or registered domain names for infringing content; correspond with outside counsel as necessary in connection with intellectual property maintenance/registration; serve as the primary resource to review online marketplace websites and prepare/file takedown notices in instances of suspected infringement. Work with business and brand teams to ensure uniform and correct use of notice requirements for marks.

Perform administrative functions for in‑house counsel such as maintaining records, document and file systems, answering telephones, processing check requests for various contracts and distribute to Accounts Payable (“AP”) and tracking contractual payments, compiling expense reports, making travel arrangements, preparing invoices, formatting and converting documents, photocopying, opening and sorting mail, filing, researching on WestLaw Next and/or PACER when needed.

Prepare invoices and expense reports for payment, arrange travel as requested, and perform other administrative support to attorneys.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree

5+ years experience

Prior experience with intellectual property work preferred

Paralegal certificate

Ability to operate general office equipment such as telephone, scanner, postage scale, and copier.

Ability to operate a personal computer using software packages, including spreadsheets and databases in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Adobe, and SmartSheet.

Strong organizational skills; collaborative and supportive; self‑starter; ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume department; attention to detail; personable and able to get along with various personalities; able to meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; punctuality, reliability, and work ethic.

Proofreading skills are essential.
