About us:
Come grow with us! The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC)locatedin Vinita, OK is a 24 hour/365 daysecure inpatient forensic facilitythat provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication oradjudicated asNot Guilty by Reason of Insanity. OFC is expanding withnewconstruction scheduled to be completed intheFall of2025adding anadditional84 beds. When completed, OFC will have a total of 352 beds to houseconsumers.
About the Position:
Here at the Oklahoma Forensic Center the Custodial department is looking for a Housekeeping/Custodial worker who wouldbe responsible forthe care and cleaning of aninpatientforensicfacility along with other simple duties asrequired.

Hourly Salaryis:Level I-$13.70/hr, Level II-$14.66

Primary Working Hours are: 7:00am-3:30pm

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Level I – None
Level II- Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of sixmonthsexperience in building or institutional custodial work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants mustsubmitto a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 40 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
