We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking a Compliance Technician (Facility Technician-Compliance)

is responsible for working with the Compliance Manager to sustain and improve the facility compliance program by meeting all facility permit requirements, maintaining facility records, assisting in facility inspections and compliance reviews, and achieving all agency reporting deadlines. Position will cross‑train with compliance specialist and compliance inspectors to support facility inspections and LDAR monitoring program.

20-25% field work, 75-80% office work

Responsibilities

Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.

Assist the Compliance Manager with the preparation of reports and RCRA/OSHA facility training modules.

Conduct on‑site inspections, as requested by the Compliance Manager.

Assist with facility inspection program.

Oversee facility safety incident reporting, documentation, and corrective action program.

Review and manage facility compliance records as required.

Perform quarterly ambient sampling for soils, rainfall, air, etc. and review laboratory results for quality assurance.

Audit and update Subpart BB program and work with compliance operators to assist with field activities.

Conduct tours of the facility, as directed by the Compliance Manager.

Review facility permits to gain an understanding of the permit conditions/limitations and assist in updating permits as needed.

Perform quality control and compliance reviews of reports, facility processes, and data.

Answer telephones in a professional and courteous manner and direct inquiries to appropriate parties as necessary.

Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management and as required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business

Qualifications

Critical thinking and creative problem solving

Highly motivated with strong work ethic

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work well in team environment

Excellent organizational skills

Basic understanding of math, chemistry, and chemical testing

Proficient in primary Microsoft Office applications (required)

High school diploma or equivalent- required

Punctuality and consistent attendance

Valid Driver's License required

Punctuality and consistent attendance required

Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)

Resume required

Background check, drug screen and physical- required
