The Java Developer will support the modernization of a pharmacy technology ecosystem by migrating existing workflows to cloud-based platforms.
This role focuses on building scalable, resilient services using modern Java technologies and event-driven architectures, while collaborating closely with architects and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Modernize and enhance components of the pharmacy technology ecosystem.
Migrate existing application workflows to cloud environments.
Design and implement asynchronous data processing and cloud-based service interactions.
Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Implement event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as Kafka.
Conduct regression testing to ensure application stability following changes.
Collaborate with solution architects on technical design, code reviews, and best practices.
Validate cloud deployments and support release activities.
Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Approximately 6+ years of professional experience in Java application development.
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
Hands‑on experience working in cloud environments.
Experience implementing asynchronous processing and distributed system interactions.
Experience with messaging or streaming technologies such as Kafka.
Experience performing regression testing and validating application changes.
Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industry systems.
Familiarity with cloud‑native design patterns and microservices architectures.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
