is growing, and our Somerset, NJ Environmental Department is looking for a motivated Environmental Scientist to join our team. Environmental Scientist Responsibilities:
Conduct and prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for residential and commercial projects
Collect soil, soil gas, indoor air (vapor intrusion), and groundwater samples
Analyze and evaluate environmental data
Assist with writing clear, accurate technical reports and deliverables
Environmental Scientist Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Familiarity with NJDEP regulations and technical guidance (preferred)
Strong writing, proofreading, and interpersonal communication skills
GIS experience (a plus, but not required)
Self‑motivated, organized, and detail‑oriented
