Salary: $900.-$1,000. Per Contact Hour
This position provides a benefits package that includes: Eligibility to contribute towards the 403(b) plan, and a various fringe benefits (discounts on ever day good and services, entertainment/dining discounts, etc.), and State benefits such as NJ Sick Leave and State Short Term Disability benefits.

Job Summary:
The Gregory H. Olsen College of Engineering and Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florham Campus, seeks an adjunct professor to teach general chemistry courses and corresponding recitation sections. The syllabi for the courses will be made available with the instructor expected to lead in-person instruction to students and assess student learning through the assigning of homework sets, worksheets, quizzes, and exams. The instructor will be required to grade these assignments and provide the students with feedback in a timely manner. They will also need to assign student final grades for the course.
Required Qualifications: Applicants are required to hold a Master’s degree or above in chemistry or closely related field. Teaching experience is required. Candidates with industrial experience are also welcome to apply. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae/resume.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
