From $20-$23 per hour
Shift:
Monday - Friday (7am - 3:30pm)
Job Description The primary responsibility of
TIG Welder
is TIG the welding of aluminum and steel parts in a variety of standard and custom jobs. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area.
Responsibilities
Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols)
Inspect welds for accuracy
Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts
Change wire/welding and gas tanks as needed
Ensure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner, and that all safety devices are in use
Perform first article inspections as well as subsequent inspections
Record proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system
Willingness to be flexible within all areas of production within facility.
Other job‑related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position
Skills & Requirements
At least 1 year of experience or training in TIG Welding
Must pass the TIG welding test
Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings & job orders
Ability to operate measuring devices such as calipers and tape measurers
Basic computer navigation and data entry skills
Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work overtime when needed
