Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Location: Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina
Type: Contract
Compensation: $22 - $26 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Duties Include:
Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions
Ability to gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized manner
Routes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards
Numerous hand assembly operations based on detailed instructions
Operate semi‑automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippers
Conduct functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures
Use of a solder iron to solder wires to switches or connectors
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in‑process assemblies and finished products
Wire harness assembly experience highly preferred
Qualification and Skills:
Has assembly/production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude
Motivated and detail oriented
Attention to detail, excellent hand dexterity
Proficient in basic math skills
Wire harness experience
Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude
Essential Job Functions:
Ability to stand while working
Lifting Requirements: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Ability to distinguish colored wires for accurate assembly purposes
Ability to handle small parts
Pull/push motion up to 10lbs frequently
