Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning for Education courses.
Duties
Teach a 12-credit course load (undergraduate and graduate level) in K-12 Education theory and practice, supporting active engagement and learning in online, video‑conference, face‑to‑face, and hybrid formats.
Supervise clinical experiences, face‑to‑face and/or virtually as needed.
Develop syllabi, maintain materials, and supplies for the classes assigned.
Advise students in all associates-, bachelors-, and masters‑level programs in Elementary and Secondary Education.
Collaborate with colleagues in teacher education curriculum development.
Collaborate with partner schools and districts.
Assist with CAEP accreditation.
Conduct research program or other scholarship activities suitable to a small, teaching university that accommodates the inclusion of undergraduate students.
Provide professional contributions within areas of expertise as appropriate.
Participate in departmental and University committees and special projects.
Participate in the process of ongoing personal and professional development.
Education/Background Requires a Master’s degree in education or a closely related field.

Salary Range $70,879
