Job Description POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Bellevue School District Principals are expected to be stewards of the probleme vision, mission, goals and instructional initiatives. Building administrators are instructional leaders and are expected to spend their time, energy, and talents focused on the quality of education offered at their schools. An instructional leader understands the tremendous complexity of teaching and learning and devotes the majority of the professional day to planning and implementing initiatives to improve the quality of education.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observing instruction and providing ongoing candid and powerful feedback to improve student learning.
Creating a school culture that promotes the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning for students and staff.
Establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment for all.
Providing for school safety.
Leading the development, implementation, NH and evaluation of a data-driven plan for increasing student achievement, including the use of multiple student data elements.
Assisting instructional staff with alignment of curriculum, instruction and assessment with state and local district learning goals.
Designing and leading professional development programs that meet the needs of staff and students.
Managing both staff and fiscal resources to τώρα student achievement and legal responsibilities.
Partnering with the school community to promote student learning.
Demonstr AWESOME commitment to closing the achievement gap. systematic.
Utilizing effective communication and interpersonal skills with all constituencies.
Visibly supporting all curricular and extra-curricular programs.
Performing other related duties as required.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a general.connections for one or more Certificated Administrator positions. Positions will be filled as specific openings are identified.
Determined by the job classification on the Certificated Administrator Compensation Salary. Current starting salary ranges from $177,275 to $192,000 depending upon prior verified work experience.
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life-insurance eligibility is based upon 630 hours worked within a school year. Retirement provided through Washington State Department of Retirement Systems.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSING

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 혼>
Positions in this class typically require stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time.
