The post holder will work as part of a team in delivering an effective service supporting the providing full and comprehensive administrative support covering all aspects of secretarial, administrative, organisational and operational initiatives. The post holder will also assist the General Managers and Service Managers across the Adult Community Division. To co-ordinate diaries to ensure attendance at all relevant meetings and events. Provide and support managers with a wide range of administrative and computer skills as well as maintaining a range of knowledge and understanding of procedures, protocols and functions including email management. Prepare agendas, take minutes and distribute notes of meetings including typing up of group discussions and interviews as necessary, recording and follow-up actions as required. Act as a point of contact for teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously. Update and maintain data bases and/or spread sheets relevant to work area and propose new and improved reporting systems. About us

Training and Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification/training Equivalent relevant experience in business administration management and project management. Experience

Extensive experience in advanced use of IT packages including keyboard skills and data manipulation. Experience in administration duties and provision of secretarial support to senior managers/Directors including minute taking. Experience of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience of analysis of performance data and providing meaningful and credible information. Knowledge and Skills

Willingness to learn and use new skills which support service improvement. Must demonstrate a high degree of numeracy and an ability to think analytically. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with experience of preparing and presenting reports on complex issues Experience of working with a number of data sources, developing and presenting data in a dashboard.
