You will be the Software Engineer Senior for the Test Planning and Execution Team which is responsible for integration and test of supplier‑procured software & hardware products with Lockheed Martin‑developed software capabilities. This team focuses on system-level integration and test in an unclassified cloud environment and/or laboratory environment using hardware-in-the-loop and modeling and simulation tools to mature a Mission Systems suite prior to release. What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineer Senior you will be responsible for delivering automated testing solutions that validate and mature Mission Systems software suites. Your responsibilities will include:
Design and implement automated test frameworks for system‑level verification. Maintain and evolve the automated testing infrastructure in cloud and laboratory environments. Develop test harnesses, APIs, and scripts to exercise mission‑critical software. Integrate commercial‑off‑the‑shelf automation tools into the test ecosystem. Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to ensure seamless hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing. What’s In It For You

Bachelors or above degree in engineering/technical discipline Experience with software languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc Desired Skills
Experience with Linux operating systems (Red Hat preferred) Experience with container orchestration technologies Experience with infrastructure as code approaches (Ansible preferred) Experience with Helm and Kubernetes Experience with the automation of software‑based systems Experience with software test tools that deal with application behavior, such as Cucumber Experience with container virtualization technologies such as Docker, Podman, containerd, etc. Familiarity with flight simulation technologies and experimentation Familiarity with Gitlab and Atlassian products Familiarity with the concepts of DevSecOps Familiarity with aircraft Mission Systems (RADAR, IR Tracking, ect.) and with the Operational Use of a Modern Tactical Airborne Platform Familiarity with Agile SW Development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Familiarity with cloud computing Current Security+ Certification Active Top Secret Clearance w/ last completed investigation in last 5 years Willingness for occasional travel Security Clearance Statement

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $107,300 - $185,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
