Responsibilities
Document and perform work as outlined on repair order
Complete maintenance and repairs requested for guest vehicles
Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
Test-drive vehicles (if warranted), and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Communicate with Service Advisors to keep guests well-informed if additional services are recommended or required
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working in an automotive shop
General mechanical skills and manual dexterity
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds several times during each shift
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to type and utilize functions of a computer and various operating programs
