Customer Engagement & Sales Process
Greet customers promptly and professionally in the showroom, on the lot, and through digital leads.
Conduct needs assessments to understand customer preferences, budget, and vehicle requirements.
Present new and pre‑owned vehicles, highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions.
Facilitate test drives and explain vehicle technology, safety features, and warranty options.
Guide customers through the full sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery.
Sales Performance & Goal Achievement
Meet or exceed individual sales volume, gross profit, and performance objectives.
Follow dealership sales processes and best practices to ensure consistency and accountability.
Maintain accurate deal documentation and ensure timely submission of all required paperwork.
Support dealership initiatives, promotions, and manufacturer programs.
Customer Experience & Relationship Building
Deliver a transparent, professional, and pressure‑free buying experience.
Maintain strong NPS (Net Promoter Score) performance through exceptional customer care.
Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and address questions or concerns.
Build long‑term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
Handle customer objections or concerns professionally and **escalate** when appropriate.
Personal Marketing & Community Representation
Actively market oneself as a representative of Woody Anderson Ford through approved channels.
Utilize social media, digital tools, and personal networking to generate leads in alignment with dealership guidelines.
Participate in dealership‑approved community events, promotions, and outreach initiatives.
Represent Woody Anderson Ford in a professional, positive, and brand‑consistent manner at all public‑facing events.
Support dealership marketing campaigns by sharing approved content and engaging with the local community.
Inventory Knowledge & Product Expertise
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all new and used inventory, including features, pricing, and availability.
Stay informed on manufacturer incentives, financing programs, and dealership promotions.
Work with inventory managers to locate vehicles that meet customer needs.
Assist with merchandising efforts such as vehicle placement, cleanliness, and presentation.
Digital Lead Management
Respond promptly and professionally to internet, phone, and text inquiries.
Use the dealership CRM to track customer interactions, follow‑ups, and appointment scheduling.
Maintain accurate customer records and activity logs.
Support online sales initiatives and digital retailing tools as required.
Collaboration & Team Support
Work closely with Sales Managers to structure deals and ensure compliance with dealership policies.
Coordinate with Finance Managers to ensure a smooth transition to the finance process.
Support the delivery team to ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for delivery.
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and dealership events.
Professional Development & Compliance
Attend required sales training and manufacturer certification programs.
Stay compliant with dealership policies, legal regulations, and ethical sales standards.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications
High school diploma or the equivalent
Minimum 2 years of commissioned sales experience
Previous automotive sales experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Self‑motivated with a strong desire to succeed in a performance‑based environment
Comfortable using CRM systems, digital tools and technology
Valid driver's license and good driving record
