Industrial Maintenance Technician- Eastern Alloys of Kentucky, LLC.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician provides maintenance support to plant production and an industrial/automated environment. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing on-site machinery including production/process equipment, Single and 3 phase electrical systems, water and power distribution, hydraulics, and compressed air. Responsibilities
Performs repairs and routine preventative maintenance to production equipment.
Assists with installation of new equipment and/ or modify existing equipment.
Rebuilds and modifies equipment assigned, including electrically controlled equipment.
Assists with maintaining all safety systems on equipment.
Performs upgrades and/or changes to equipment when needed.
Assists with electrical preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
Assists with upgrading plant mechanical and electrical systems where necessary.
Welding, cutting, grinding, sanding and use of hand power tools
Assist with maintaining equipment and electrical spare parts and ordering necessary equipment/parts for installations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma, or equivalent.
2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Welding, fabrication, and mechanical experience, preferred.
Working Conditions This role requires the ability to stand, kneel, crawl, climb and bend for extended periods of time. This role will primarily work on the plant production floor and will require the ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, and will be exposed to varying temperatures.
