They are seeking an experienced

licensed Project Engineer

with a strong background in

mechanand plumbing engineering

to support and lead projects from concept through construction.

Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as the

Project Engineer

on multiple commercial projects, providing technical leadership throughout design and construction phases

Design, analyze, and coordinate

mechanical and plumbing systems

Develop and review

construction documents

to two full-time Mechanical Engineer Assistants

Apply strong working knowledge of

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or a related engineering discipline

Professional Engineer (PE)

license required (California preferred or ability to obtain)

Minimum

5+ years of experience

in mechanical and plumbing engineering design for commercial or institutional projects

Proven experience working on

large-scale commercial buildings , preferably including K-12, higher education, healthcare, or civic facilities

Strong knowledge of

HVAC systems, plumbing design, and energy management/control systems

Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers or engineering staff

Proficiency in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant engineering calculation tools)

Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with

remote teams

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Experience supporting construction administration, RFIs, and contractor coordination

Results-driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional mindset
