**Job Description: Production Engineer**
**Purpose of the Role**
The Production Engineer is responsible for analyzing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing processes within the plant. The goal is to enhance quality, safety, flexibility, and reliability of production by initiating and implementing improvement projects and supporting operational teams. This position requires a hands-on approach, significant presence on the shop floor, and strong analytical skills.**Key Responsibilities**
**Safety and Compliance*** Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and improvement projects.* Experience in a production environment.* Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP is a plus).* Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English.* Analytical skills: Ability to interpret data and translate it into practical solutions.* Communication skills: Clear and persuasive communication at all levels.* Leadership: Ability to motivate people, create buy-in, and provide constructive feedback.* Result orientation: Demonstrates ownership and delivers improvements.* Collaboration: Works effectively across departments.* Innovative and proactive: Takes initiative and continuously seeks improvement opportunities.* Safety and quality awareness: Works according to applicable standards and procedures.Prysmian is a global cabling solutions provider **leading the energy transition and digital transformation**.
